United Programs

Oshkosh United Programs

Oshkosh United has a variety of programs for players of all ages and abilities. Read below for a general overview of our programs and visit the specific program pages for more information and to register.

United Rec League (URL)

The URL has 6U (includes 5U) and 8U (includes 7U) divisions and is our beginning recreation program. The URL is great for players looking to get started with soccer or for players looking for a soccer experience focused on player development that takes place in Oshkosh. The URL program takes place in May and June with an optional jamboree (multiple games) at the end of the season against other local clubs. The coaches for the URL are parent volunteers that follow an Oshkosh United provided curriculum. Registration is open (no tryouts) and can be found on the URL page.

Academy

The Academy program is for soccer players with previous soccer experience looking for additional training and competition. The Academy program has divisions for 8U (includes 7U), 9U and 10U. The program has fall and spring/summer seasons and players can sign up for fall only, spring only, or both. Academy teams practice twice a week and play games on Saturday mornings. Our Academy teams play in the East Central Academy League so our teams compete against other local Academy programs ranging from Neenah to Green Bay. For Academy scheduling, all games are scheduled at one location each weekend so if you have children on multiple Academy teams the games will all be at the same location each weekend. The coaches of our Academy teams are typically parent coaches with previous soccer experience that have undergone WI Youth Soccer Association licensing and follow an Oshkosh United provided curriculum that focuses on individual player development. Registration is open (no tryouts) and can be found on the Academy page.

Select

Our Select program was founded in 1982 and has grown to be one of the best soccer programs in the state of Wisconsin. Our Select teams begin competition in the East Central league (Neenah to Green Bay) which offers divisions starting at 11U (includes 9U and 10U players) through 18U. Players must attend tryouts in June for the following year. Players looking to join a team after tryouts can email tryouts@oshkoshunited.com to inquire about potential open roster spots. Select teams practice twice a week and compete in fall (optional) and spring (expected) leagues. Our coaching staff for our Select teams is the finest in the Fox Valley. All of our coaches have attended WI Youth Soccer Association coaching education training and many of our coaches have licenses that exceed the minimum requirement. All of our coaches have previous playing experience (many at a high level) and we also feature many local high school and college coaches. Teams competing in the East Central league play fall games on weekends and spring games on weekdays (each age group has a specific game night). Teams also attend a fall tournament and three spring tournaments, one of which is hosted in Oshkosh.

Visit the Select page of the website for a lot more information on the Select program.

Elite

At Oshkosh United we pride ourselves for focusing on player development and ongoing coaching education. A natural by-product of focusing on player development has been an increase in the success of our teams. When a Select team finishes at the top of a local division they can apply to join a state wide (mostly to Madison and Milwaukee) traveling league managed by the WI Youth Soccer Association. Our Elite program houses all of our teams that are competing in the WI Youth Soccer State League level or higher. State league teams play games on weekends and travel throughout the state to play more competitive teams. The WYSA State League has multiple divisions so teams that win the "First" division may be promoted to the "Premier" division.

When teams win the "Premier" division of the WYSA State League they are eligible to apply to compete in the Midwest Regional League (MRL) which is managed by US Youth Soccer.

Visit the Elite page of the website for a lot more information on the Elite program.
